On Monday June 15, education experts joined Mayor David N. Cicilline and Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino to discuss how three cities are changing the landscape of after school. The mayors were joined by Dishon Mills, Senior Manager of Boston Public Schools; Mary Ellen Caron, Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Family and Support Services; Hillary Salmons, Executive Director of PASA; and Tom Brady, Superintendent of Providence Public Schools. Mayors from across the country were in attendance to learn from these citys’ successful models.
