Superintendent Tom Brady and Providence middle school youth joined Mayor David N. Cicilline this past Thursday at the Junaita Sanchez Complex to kick off PASA’s Summer AfterZone Session. The mayor and superintendent toured the facilities, viewing youth engaged in martial arts training, gymnastics, hip-hop dancing, and non-violent rapping. These programs are part of PASA’s summer collaboration with the school district to offer hands-on, classroom-connected learning in conjunction with summer remeditation. Subsequently, the city featured PASA as the lead story in their weekly newsletter.
