One of our AfterZone youth and their family tragically lost everything in a house fire last week. To help them get back on their feet and to make sure that the AfterZone young person doesn’t fall behind in school and can keep coming to the AfterZone, PASA is hosting a clothing and home goods drive.
We’ve collected a list of the clothing items that the family needs first and foremost:
Mom
Shirts: Women’s Large
Pants: Women’s 10-12
Shoes: Women’s 7.5
Daughter
Shirt: Girl’s 7-8
Pants: Girl’s 7-8
Shoes: Girl’s 1
Son #1
Shirt: Boys large
Pants: Boys 18
Shoes: Boys 9
Son #2
Shirt: Boy’s 6-7
Pants: Boy’s 6-7
Shoes: Kid’s 11
Dad
Shirt: Men’s XL
Pants: Men’s 34×30
Shoes: Men’s 10
Out of respect for the family, we’re asking that all clothing donations be either new or very gently used (imperceptibly used). To protect their privacy, all donations can be dropped off at the PASA office at 140 Broadway, Providence, RI 02903 by this Friday, March 14th at 5pm.
Because the fire was a total loss, we will also happily accept donations of furniture, kitchen items, etc. One of the sons is very involved in sports (baskeball and football) and lost all of his equipment, so donations of that nature will also be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to help in ways not outlined above, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
You can reach me at ejanvier@mypasa.org or call me at 401-640-0614.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
